This is something new I'm trying. Don't know how it's going to work, but it won't work at all if I don't get help from you all.
It's a nice night here in Ohio. Not too hot, not too cold; just right for porch sitting. I'm listening to the neighbor's dog bark and watching a few fireflies. I have a fountain by the porch, so I have the sound of water running, too. It could be the creek, if I don't think too hard about it.
So that's my inspiration for this blog. I don't want to forget the little things and what I remember is not what you remember. Please post something, whenever it occurs to you. I was sitting on my back porch, but we all sat on Grandma's front porch. Two swings, two dogs, a few chairs, and a lot of people. My main memory is of Margaret and Mildred sitting there and just acting the fool. I loved to sit out there and watch it rain. I remember, even, the trains going up to the mines. The engineers would throw me candy.
What do you remember?
